LOCATION: Manhattan and boroughs of New York City :

• These general and sub-specialty trained gastroenterology positions are located in desirable areas of Manhattan as well as boroughs
  of New York City .

• The gastroenterologists may live wherever she or he chooses and has a number of options.

PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY :

• Located in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs of New York City , a number of Gastroenterologists are needed for a staff positions to work at a well-regarded academic medical center.

• If any of the new gastroenterology candidates have ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) skills, they will be able to perform these interventional procedures. These skills are a plus but are not required.

• They have five Gastroenterologists on staff, four Nurse Practitioners and three Physician Assistants.

• DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATE :

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

• New York State license in good standing is required.
  
  
  
  

• DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :They commonly treat the following conditions: Pancreatitis, Colitis, Gallbladder Diseases, Peptic Ulcer, Colon Polyps, Colon Cancer, Hepatitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and medical conditions disrupting the normal function of the digestive tract.

• Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• There is no on call.

• They also have internal medicine residents and gastroenterology fellows who rotate through this facility. They are being trained at a closely affiliated major academic/teaching hospital.

• If so desired, teaching opportunities are available.

• These excellent gastroenterology opportunities are due to growth and expansion.

• Availability of Desired Candidates can be any of the following combination and will all be strongly considered:

• General and sub-specialty trained Gastroenterology fellows available during 2022 and 2023.

• General and sub-specialty trained Gastroenterologists who have work experience and available during 2022 and 2023.
