Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Kennesaw, GA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. New grads allowed. Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate discipline-specific therapy services, document thoroughly, and participate in student education and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient therapy preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, write goals and plans of care, and document according to state, federal, and payer requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in outpatient settings treating musculoskeletal or orthopedic conditions.
• Experience supervising or mentoring students.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2 evenings until 6:00 PM.
• Workweek: 5x8 schedule.
• Assignment Type: Outpatient setting in Kennesaw, GA; candidate may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
