Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk Department: Shipping Reports To: Contracts Administrator and Supply Chain Supervisor Maintain the shipping and receiving area. Perform incoming visual inspection operations. Identify shortages and any non-conforming material, taking appropriate action as required by activity instructions. Duties and Responsibilities Primary Duties & Areas of Responsibility: Loading and unloading product from trucks, signing and obtaining signatures as required. Ensure incoming freight is consistent with applicable documentation with no damage or shortages (purchase orders, freight bills, pack-slips, etc.). Inspect parts as received Accurate data entry on F-33 Maintain high levels of organization in the shipping and receiving area, clearly segregating incoming from finished product. Responsible for coordinating shipments through various common carriers. Ability to operate hoist, forklift and powered pallet jack. Education Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Skills Required Skills, Competencies & Certifications Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to process and communicate information using Microsoft Office software Ability to report relevant, accurate and concise information up the chain of command. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with a team, multi-task and work in a fast-pace environment.
