Emergency Room PhysiciansAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Emergency Room (ER) Physicians to support the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center located at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904. This is a PRN position working on an as needed basis. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesDelivering direct emergency patient care (approximately 95% of the role), including evaluation, diagnosis, stabilization, treatment, and disposition of patientsManaging life?threatening and urgent conditions, trauma, medical emergencies, psychiatric emergencies, and complex medical casesPerforming and supervising emergency procedures, including resuscitation, airway management, intubation, central lines, chest tubes, procedural sedation, fracture reduction, and other ED proceduresSupervising and collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs) and reviewing inpatient admissions recommended by APPsEnsuring timely patient care in accordance with VA wait?time standardsDocumenting all care in the VA electronic health record (EHR) and completing appropriate coding and clinical documentationParticipating in quality assurance, peer review, patient safety reporting, and performance improvement activitiesCommunicating test results, coordinating transfers when higher levels of care are required, and providing discharge instructionsAttending required ED staff meetings and quality meetingsQualificationsCurrent, full and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territoryBoard Certification in Emergency MedicineCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications (VA?approved)Active DEA registrationNational Provider Identifier (NPI)Ability to work scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust meet VA background and suitability requirementsNo sponsorship availableAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
