RN Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary As an RN Registered Nurse Operating Room at HCA Healthcare, your voice influences patient care. The role is in the Surgical Services Department ensuring high quality, efficient, patient‑focused care in a surgical environment. Responsibilities Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of intra‑operative patients. Assist surgeons during operative procedures. Maintain and review patient records, including posting tests and examination results. Administer medications in accordance with physician orders. Qualifications 2 years hospital‑based OR experience required. Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or have compact licensure with an active Florida RN license within 60 days of hire. Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions. PC skills.
