WHAT TOLEDO TOOL & DIE CAN OFFER YOU: Monday-Friday, 1:45pm-10:00pm Weekly pay $1.50 shift premium for 2nd shift 10 paid holidays Full benefits WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT FOR THIS POSITION: Previous experience in a factory is beneficial but not necessary Strong work ethic Positive attitude Consistent attendance Willingness to learn Safety minded POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports our Tool & Die Makers by performing machining tasks such as milling, grinding, turning, and fitting of components used in stamping dies and tooling. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude and machining experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operate manual and machines including mills, lathes, grinders, and saws Assist with building, modifying, and repairing stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures Read and interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and work instructions Hold close tolerances and perform quality checks on finished components Use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators Work closely with Tool & Die Makers to complete projects efficiently Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate tooling issues and improvement suggestions to supervisors Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical training in machining preferred 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or tool room environment Ability to work from prints, sketches, or verbal instructions Familiarity with stamping dies and precision tooling a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Must be reliable, safety-minded, and a team player Experience with overhead crane and mobile equipment preferred Proficient with mills, drills, lathe, drill press, radial arm, and surface grinder Toledo Tool & Die is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
