Enterprise Architect

Overview

Lutron is looking for a well-rounded and seasoned Enterprise Architect to join our Information Technology team at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this role, you will drive technical leadership across the organization; guiding decisions from high-level strategy through detailed project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Evolve and expand the IT system architecture to support short term and long-term business needs and long-term architectural needs, as the company continues to scale.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies to drive business value increase, cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
• Collaborate with other Architects to establish and govern technical standards, guidelines, and architectural principles across the organization, ensuring adherence through robust governance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration for consistent software development practices.
• Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including onboarding of new applications and analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
• Assure a high standard of quality in your work. Mentor and coach colleagues to expand the effectiveness of those around you.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices by identifying and mitigating risks/vulnerabilities in software architectures, while collaborating with security and compliance teams to maintain secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field with at least 3.0 GPA (or equivalent).
• 8 Years experience with 3 years in enterprise, data or system architecture
• Expertise in enterprise platforms and software evaluation, including ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), and service tools required
• Knowledge of modern cloud and architecture practices, including managing multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) required
• Understanding of TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) methodology plus demonstrated ability to lead projects
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems, with a good understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws preferred
