Must-Have: Must be efficient in C-sections and Endoscopy Procedures such as EGD and Colonoscopy.

Description: Please confirm your candidate is aware that this position does not start until November, as well as the shift details. The position will involve scheduled cases during the week that include general surgery, endoscopy, orthopedics, podiatry, cataracts, and obstetrics/gynecology. The hours are 06:30-15:00 with on-call starting at 15:00-06:20 and 24 hours on weekends/holidays. On-call duties for obstetrics cases require a 30-minute response time. Candidates must be proficient in C-sections and endoscopic procedures, such as EGD and colonoscopy. Experience with general laparoscopic surgery is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend work is required. Candidates must float as needed within the facility. Locals are accepted. Persistent state licensing is required prior to the start date. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. This position includes 12-hour shifts and other variations. The facility caters to neonate, adult, and geriatric patient populations. The daily census varies based on scheduled cases. There will be interdisciplinary support from pharmacy and unit secretaries. The facility has a small unit with helpful staff and offers a flexible schedule.
