Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients in a high-volume emergency department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and critical conditions
• Deliver trauma-informed care in alignment with Level II or Level III trauma center protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted at submission; must be active prior to start)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room experience in a comparable setting (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits per day)
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (must be willing to obtain if offered)
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Must be willing to work some holidays as required
• Must pass an on-site multi-panel drug screen prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel nursing experience in an emergency room setting within the past 6–8 months
• Level II or Level III trauma center experience
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
