As a Behavioral Technician, you will work one-on-one with children in their homes, schools, and communities, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. No prior ABA experience is required. We provide the training, support, and mentorship you need to get started and grow in the field.Whether you're beginning your career, exploring a career in behavioral health, or looking for meaningful work where you can make an impact, we'd love to hear from you!Location: Chesterton, INJob Type: Part-TimeWork Setting: In-Home & School-BasedExperience Level: Entry LevelCompensation: $19-$25/ hour (direct care)What You'll DoProvide one-on-one support to children receiving ABA servicesImplement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a BCBAHelp children develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skillsUse evidence-based strategies and techniques to support learning and positive behaviorCollect and record data on client progress during sessionsBuild positive, trusting relationships with clients and their familiesParticipate in training, supervision, and ongoing professional developmentCommunicate with your clinical team regarding client progress and needsMaintain accurate and timely session documentationFollow all clinical, ethical, and safety standardsTravel to client homes, schools, and other approved community settings as neededQualificationsPassion for helping children and familiesReliable and dependableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow directions and work as part of a teamBasic computer skills or willingness to learn new systemsValid driver's license and reliable transportationMust be at least 18 years oldAbility to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds when neededNo Experience? No Problem!You do not need previous ABA or Behavioral Technician experience to apply. Previous experience working with children and coursework or a degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or a related field are helpful, but not required. We provide the required 40-hour RBT training, along with ongoing training, supervision, and mentorship to help you succeed.
