About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with GQR Healthcare to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Los Angeles, California, 90033!

**Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse • Days**

**Location:** Los Angeles, CA

**Contract Details:**
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours/week, 3 x 12•hour day shifts
• Patient Ratios: Compliant with CA guidelines
• On Call: Not required
• Floating: Required

**Certifications:**
• AHA BLS/PALS/NRP
• Fetal Heart Monitoring
• NIHSS
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire and Life Safety

**License:**
• Active CA RN License (renewal assistance available)

**Experience:**
• 1+ year in Labor & Delivery at Level 1 Trauma Center
• C•Section experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• COVID vaccination and booster required

**Responsibilities:**
• Monitor maternal/fetal status, interpret heart rates, administer meds
• Assist in deliveries, manage emergencies
• Support pain management, educate patients/families
• Ensure safe postpartum/newborn transitions
• Provide care in Labor & Delivery, triage, and operating suites
• May float to Mother•Baby Unit
