Access Control Solutions Engineer (College Station)

KeyTrak, a division of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking an Access Control Solutions Engineer to lead the research, design, and integration of commercial access control solutions. As the internal subject matter expert, you’ll focus on access control hardware/software, smart systems, and integration with related security technologies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are compliant, comprehensive, and delivered on schedule. This position requires up to 50% travel.Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement smart access control systems, defining security goals and user experience requirements - Review project drawings/specs to validate feasibility and alignment with business needs - Develop and review system architectures, including door hardware, intrusion detection, and video surveillance - Uphold security standards and best practices in every solution - Identify opportunities to improve existing access control solutions, processes, integrations, and user experiences through innovative and practical design approaches. - Monitor trends and recommend new technologies and vendorsPreferred Qualifications: - Door hardware integration experience - Familiarity with intrusion detection and video surveillance - Project management experience - Creative and innovative problem-solving skillsBenefitsWe strive to offer an environment that provides our associates with the right balance between work and family.
