Optimal’s mission is to reduce the cost of healthcare by providing efficient supply chain solutions.”Job SummaryThe Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are maintained by performing the following duties.Essential Job FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential duties for the position including requirements, tasks, work to be completed.Assist with answering phones and redirecting calls to appropriate departments.Handle Customer Calls requesting ETA of items already on order.Handle customer requests for Tracking and Confirmation Information.Handle Customer Inventory and Pricing Inquiries.Contact customers to notify of cancellation of backordered items that become No Source.Run Reports out of the Company’s software program to review Open Order Status.Order Entry from customer’s faxed purchase orders or via phone orders.Part Allocation.Fax Order Confirmations to customers.Releasing orders that have been placed on hold.Issue Return Authorizations to customers for damages or shipping errors.Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.Develop and maintain customer relationships.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Required EducationAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.Education can be substituted for Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.Required Experience1-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Licenses and CertificationsN/A.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBasic working knowledge of MS Office Suite of Programs.
