What You'll Do:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center.
• Perform thorough assessments, develop and implement patient care plans, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Utilize your expertise with EPIC electronic medical records and trauma experience to ensure seamless patient management.
• Take on a critical role in a supportive environment, providing compassionate care and swift medical interventions during overnight hours.

Required Skills:

• Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to recertify as needed.
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience working in an acute care hospital setting of similar size and trauma level within the past two years.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check.
• Valid legal work authorization in the U.S. and a commitment to maintaining a professional, suspension-free record.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Trauma center experience, particularly in Level 1 or 2 facilities.
• Experience with pediatric emergency care.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred.
• 2+ years of recent emergency or acute care experience, especially in trauma centers.

Other Requirements:

• Availability for night shift hours, approximately 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM, with every other weekend and some holidays included.
• Willingness to travel only if experienced in hospitals of comparable or greater size or trauma designation.
