AP Analyst

In this senior role, you will oversee corporate administrative payments and core operational processing. You will be a key resource for troubleshooting complex issues, identifying operational bottlenecks, and implementing innovative, automated solutions. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations: Oversee daily department workflows from invoice receipt to final payment execution. Tax Compliance: Ensure all invoices comply with Massachusetts sales and use tax regulations. Annual Reporting: Manage year-end 1099 tax reporting and compliance requirements for our vendor network. Financial Reporting: Perform critical month-end close reporting, financial analysis, and general ledger reconciliations. Process Improvement: Identify system efficiencies and update standard operating policies to optimize workflows. Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting system errors and resolving vendor escalated queries. Qualifications Experience: 5 to 10 years of progressive business, financial, or high-volume accounts payable experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent practical experience. Technical Skills: Demonstrated hands‑on experience using Oracle Accounts Payable systems. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel and Access. Domain Expertise: Familiarity with Massachusetts sales/use tax rules and IRS 1099 compliance regulations. Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills, a high level of professional integrity, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Location: Hingham Time Type: Full time Salary Range: $75,330.00 - $92,070.00 The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
