FABRICATOR / PIPEFITTER – $25–$32/HR

Power Labor USA is hiring Fabricators/Pipefitters for an industrial shop specializing in the fabrication and assembly of water treatment systems .

This is a hands-on position involving mechanical assembly, pipe fabrication, equipment installation, and skid assembly. Candidates with pipefitting, welding, mechanical assembly, or industrial equipment fabrication experience are encouraged to apply.

PAY RATE:

• 1–2 years experience: $25–$27/hr – Junior Pipefitter
• 3–4 years experience: $28–$32/hr – Experienced Pipefitter

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Assemble industrial water treatment systems, including pressure vessels, fiberglass tanks, stainless-steel housings, and pumps
• Fabricate and install PVC, CPVC, and stainless-steel piping
• Cut, fit, solvent-weld, thread, and assemble piping
• Mount and connect pumps, housings, valves, gauges, and other mechanical components
• Work with hand and power tools, pipe cutters, threaders, and measuring instruments
• Read and follow basic mechanical drawings
• Follow all shop safety procedures
• Work on large equipment skids and assemblies

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in welding, pipefitting, or mechanical assembly
• 1–3+ years of experience in industrial equipment fabrication, pipefitting, or mechanical assembly
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on large skids
• Valid driver's license
• Forklift experience is a plus

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• RO (reverse osmosis) systems
• Water softeners or industrial filtration equipment
• MIG/TIG welding
• Pipefitting
• Skid-packaging or modular process equipment
• Industrial water treatment equipment
