Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting. This position requires a commitment to delivering compassionate and professional service to all patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with established nursing practice standards.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient health and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and adhere to quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to overnight shifts from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, with a rotation of every other weekend and holiday.

Contract Details

This is a 14-week assignment with guaranteed hours per week. Overtime opportunities may be available.

Important Notes

• The position involves 80-mile local placements.
• A fee will be charged if a clinician withdraws or quits with less than a 14-day notice.
• If housing is provided, local rates apply.
