The School Bus Driver role involves safely transporting students to and from school while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and maintaining vehicle safety. This position is part of a medium-sized team and occasionally requires travel outside normal routes. Regular safety training is provided to support professional growth.

 

Responsibilities

• Operate school bus safely following all traffic laws
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation
• Conduct vehicle inspections to maintain operational safety
• Comply with all relevant regulations and policies
• Occasionally travel outside usual routes for trips or events

 

Required Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements

• Entry-level experience in commercial driving
• Practice safe driving habits consistently
• Manage student safety effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Patience and composure under pressure
• Effective time management
