This opportunity involves a 6-month contract offering comprehensive travel coverage, ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible work environments while delivering high-quality service. The role focuses on ensuring accurate dispensing, clinical oversight, and exceptional patient interaction within a busy retail setting averaging 1,400 scripts.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm (rotating schedule)
• Saturday, 8am–2pm every 3rd to 4th Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions with precision to ensure patient safety
• Conduct thorough clinical medication reviews
• Administer immunizations to support community health
• Provide patient counseling to promote medication adherence and education
• Utilize the Willow computer system effectively for pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Immunization certification essential
• Proven ability to manage high prescription volumes accurately
• Strong communication skills for patient and healthcare provider interactions
