Restaurant Manager – Calhoun's in Knoxville, TN

Calhoun's is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team at one of our Knoxville-area locations!

Our managers set the tone for the restaurant by leading with positivity, supporting their teams and creating an experience that makes every guest feel welcome. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable and passionate about developing people and delivering outstanding hospitality.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead by example and make guest service and satisfaction a top priority
• Respond to guest concerns quickly and professionally, ensuring every guest leaves happy
• Recruit, train, develop and retain talented front-of-house and back-of-house team members
• Support initiatives that improve the guest experience and build long-term loyalty
• Help the restaurant achieve established operational and financial goals
• Participate in community involvement and local marketing efforts
• Manage food, beverage and labor costs without compromising quality or service
• Monitor operating expenses, including utilities, supplies and smallwares
• Promote a safe working environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards
• Complete daily operational paperwork accurately and on time, including payroll, purchase orders, bank deposits and employment-related forms

Qualifications

• Two to five years of management experience in casual, upscale-casual or fine dining
• A positive, hands-on leadership style and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven ability to train, motivate and develop a successful team
• Ability to balance excellent guest service with strong operational performance
