Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Level I trauma hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification.

Job Details

• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Wednesday-Friday 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM,
• No call requirements,
• Adult and pediatric patient population across acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient settings,
• Performs MRI imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal regions,
• Utilizes PACS and Philips MRI equipment,
• May float to other units or campuses within qualifications and documented competencies,

Job Requirements

• ARRT MR certification (must include MRI listed), BLS required,
• State license required if applicable,
• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required,
• Level I Trauma experience required,
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required,
• Teaching hospital experience preferred,
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts preferred,
• Skilled in MRI procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, and image post-processing techniques,

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic MRI imaging across a wide range of anatomical regions and specialties, including cardiovascular and musculoskeletal studies,
• Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols,
• Hunter Green scrubs required,
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training,
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
