This role is focused on supporting and optimizing high-volume production databases that power mission-critical business systems.This is not a traditional DBA, reporting, or data warehousing role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience writing SQL code in live environments, troubleshooting data issues, optimizing performance, and working directly with developers and internal stakeholders to solve real-world business problems.Job Responsibilities:Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role Write, modify, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functionsSupport high-volume production databases and mission-critical business applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, data inconsistencies, and application-related SQL problemsAnalyze execution plans and implement indexing strategies to improve performanceWork directly with developers and internal teams to support application functionality and data requirementsDesign and implement database solutions based on business needsSupport ETL processes, data migrations, and system integrationsMonitor database growth, performance, and overall healthQualifications:3-10+ years of SQL Server experienceExperience writing and optimizing stored procedures, views, functions, and complex queriesStrong T-SQL development skillsExperience troubleshooting live production database issuesUnderstanding of query execution plans, indexing, and performance tuningExperience supporting business applications or CRM systemsFamiliarity with Git, Jira, and Agile development environments preferredExperience with SSIS, ETL processes, and data migrations is a plusAbout the Company:Our client is a rapidly growing global cybersecurity leader trusted by organizations around the world to secure servers, endpoints, and critical business systems.
