Cycle Counter

A Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting routine counts of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role plays a key part in minimizing inventory errors and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Perform daily or scheduled cycle counts across warehouse zones

Compare physical counts to system records and investigate discrepancies

Use inventory software or WMS to record and reconcile variances

Report damaged, missing, or misplaced items to supervisors

Assist with inventory audits, stock rotation, and location accuracy

Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain inventory integrity

Follow safety and quality standards during all inventory activities

Skills & Qualifications:

Basic math and data entry skills

Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

12 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred.

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.

Experience using RF scanners, forklifts, or pallet jacks is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
