Clinical RN II- Intensive Care Unit $20K Hiring Incentive Palomar Health, Escondido, California Job Summary Responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within an assigned unit and for the day‑to‑day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. Coordinates plan of care with the client, their family, and the interdisciplinary team. Also responsible for supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, utilizing professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate plan of care with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team. Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel. Observe and direct patient lifts, mobilization, and patient handling. Adhere to the California Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, ANA Bill of Rights, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. Use standard office equipment and computer software (MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, email, internet). Perform other duties as assigned and follow Palomar Health policies and standards. Qualifications Minimum Education: Required certification and/or licensure. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum Experience: 1 year RN experience in Intensive Care Unit. Preferred Experience: 2+ years RN experience in ICU. Required Certification: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Required Certification: BLS – Healthcare Provider. Required License: Current CA RN License. Language: Proficient written and spoken English. Additional Information Current employees are not eligible for hiring incentives.
