You would report directly to the Service Manager. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum1year of relevant experience Minimum1year of working knowledge and experience of automotive products,repairsand parts Secondary education in the automotive field or equivalent work experience, preferred Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment Strong communicationskills and the ability to translate customer needs to workable technician orders All applicants mustbe authorized towork in the USA Ability todemonstratethe ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver) Essential Duties Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services. Maintains records on regular customers, following up periodically with telephone,mailor personal reminders. Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil. Replaces oil and air filters. Checkstire pressure and addair if needed. Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants. Communicates with the partsdepartment to obtain needed parts. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions toserviceadvisors. Documentsallwork performed on the repair order. Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins. Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notify the serviceadvisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. Keepsthe shoparea neat and clean. Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received. Understands, keeps abreastofandcomplies withfederal,stateand local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
