Community Engagement, Partnerships & Program Manager

Job Description This position serves as the programmatic and operational lead for community development and engagement programs; educational outreach; and strategic partnerships. The role strengthens community capacity building; manages college access programs in partnership with Virginia Tech’s College Access Collaborative; manages experiential education programs; assists with art exhibits and workshops; and supervises two engagement team staff members. Required Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field Experience developing and implementing programs Excellent communication skills and strong public speaking skills Experience using Microsoft Office programs, good organizational skills Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience working or volunteering with non-profits Experience building strategic partnerships and managing community development activities, developing marketing materials, and facilitating experiential educational and leadership development programs Supervisory experience Pay Band 4 Overtime Status Non-Exempt: Eligible for overtime Appointment Type Restricted Salary Information $50,000 - $56,000 Hours per week 40 Review Date 08/27/2026 Additional Information The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
