Pay: based on experience

Nations Delivery Services is hiring dependable Appliance Delivery Drivers to safely deliver appliances to residential and commercial customers. Drivers work with a helper and are responsible for safe truck operation, delivery completion, customer service, and proper handling of merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery/box trucks
• Deliver refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and other appliances
• Load, unload, secure, and transport merchandise
• Assist with basic appliance installation and haul-away as assigned
• Inspect merchandise for damage
• Protect customers' floors, walls, doors, and property
• Use appliance dollies, straps, hand trucks, and other equipment
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Complete delivery paperwork and mobile app documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
• Maintain a clean and organized truck

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to drive company trucks
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record
• Able to safely operate a box truck
• Able to perform physically demanding work and maneuver heavy appliances with a helper and proper equipment
• Dependable and punctual
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Must meet applicable company and DOT driver requirements
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one
• Box-truck, appliance delivery, moving, or installation experience preferred
