The System Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments, enterprise applications, and IIS / Windows web servers. The role ensures system availability, performance, security, and compliance , supporting business-critical infrastructure and operational excellence.

The System Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments, enterprise applications, and IIS / Windows web servers. The role ensures system availability, performance, security, and compliance , supporting business-critical infrastructure and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Server Administration
- Administer and support Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) environments.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy .
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Perform OS patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation .
- Implement system hardening and security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Support and maintain Windows-based enterprise applications .
- Deploy, configure, and upgrade application environments.
- Manage Client vSphere infrastructure , including ESXi hosts, clusters, resource pools, and datastores via vCenter.
- Manage backups, snapshots, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Support HA configurations and audit readiness.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and DR readiness .
- Troubleshoot OS, application, and web server issues.
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration (2012-2022).
- Working knowledge of Linux server environments .
- Hands-on experience with IIS / Windows Web Servers .
- Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise applications .
- Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, firewalls).
