Contract | 16 Weeks | Nights (Rotating Night/Evening) | 3x12 or 4x12 | Every Other Weekend Required | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting serving all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
• Manage a varied patient caseload including complex, multi-system diagnoses with a standard ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Work rotating night and evening shifts (19:00–07:30 / 15:00–03:30) based on departmental scheduling needs, with primary need on night shift
• Fulfill required holiday shifts as they fall per the posted schedule
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed; travelers are first to float and must be comfortable doing so without restrictions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact License at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• ACLS certification (AHA only)
• PALS certification (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI certification required (The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor; may be completed during onboarding)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP or AAP certification preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience with complex, multi-system diagnoses across all patient age ranges
