Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a full-time veterinarian, although part-time options can be discussed. The hospital sees dogs and cats and offers an opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment with a varied caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including internal medicine, wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and more. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, with doctor hours open to discussion. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is committed to providing exceptional patient care through ongoing investment in state-of-the-art veterinary equipment. Significant investment has been made to ensure veterinarians have access to the advanced tools and technology needed to deliver high-quality medicine every day. Equipment includes IDEXX in-house laboratories, Abaxis HM5 hematology analyzers, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, centrifuge upgrades, IV fluid pump upgrades, syringe pump upgrades, Doppler blood pressure monitoring, and forced-air patient warming systems. Facilities also include dedicated surgical and dental suites and an in-house pharmacy. The practice provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. The hospital is open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
