Accounting Assistant

We are seeking an organized, detail‑oriented Entry‑Level Accounting Assistant to join our growing team at One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in Virginia Beach, VA. This role blends accounting, reporting, and administrative duties, offering opportunities for growth and learning new processes. Responsibilities Prepare and summarize daily revenue reports for multiple entities. Finalize customer invoices and ensure accurate revenue classifications. Maintain customer membership records and account information. Coordinate the monthly air filter program, including ordering and customer list management. Compile and distribute KPI and performance data to leadership. Assist with month‑end processes and various accounting‑related projects. Support process improvements and help implement new systems and procedures. Provide administrative support to the accounting and leadership teams as needed. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Adaptability to changing priorities and responsibilities. Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to learn. Positive attitude and a desire to grow professionally. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or office administration. Experience with accounting or business software such as Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan, or Paylocity is helpful.
