We're looking for people who share those values and want to grow with us.Job ResponsibilitiesField ApplicationOperate constant flow sprayers, variable rate applicators, and dry spreaders safely and efficientlyApply pre- and post-emergent chemicals, insecticides, lime, and dry and liquid fertilizers to producer fieldsEvaluate product labels to ensure proper application rates and usageManeuver sprayer into proper position on producer's land while avoiding damage to propertyPrevent chemical spills; clean up any spillage immediately and report issues to supervisorProduct Loading & CoordinationPrepare sprayer for loading and verify product arrives in good conditionCollaborate with commercial truck drivers operating tender trucks to receive chemicals or fertilizers in the fieldActivate auto shutoffs, assist connecting transfer hoses, and operate transfer systems to fill sprayer tanksDisconnect and secure hoses and tanks upon completion of transferEquipment MaintenancePerform routine maintenance and repairs on sprayers and dry spreadersChange oil and filters; replace lights, belts, wiper blades, and grease fittingsClean chemical tanks with appropriate cleaning agents after each useKeep sprayers clean inside and out to ensure proper mechanical operation and a positive company imageSafety & ComplianceFollow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, state, and federal regulationsMaintain CDL license and endorsements and commercial chemical applicator's licenseAttend educational workshops and review technical publications to stay current in the fieldQualifications We Are Looking ForValid operator's license and Commercial Chemical Applicator's license requiredCDL Class A or B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements required (or obtainable within 90 days)Ability to operate constant and variable rate sprayers, dry spreaders, anhydrous stations, and nurse tanksStrong math skills including proportions, percentages, and volume calculationsEffective communicator with customers and coworkersWhy Join Us?Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, finances, and future.Paycheck for life: Cooperative pension plan, plus 401(k) with traditional and Roth optionsComprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, supplemental plans, and FSA/HSA spending accountsPaid time off: Vacation and sick leave to rest and rechargeUniform & boot allowances: Annual allowances so you're always equipped and ready360 Wellness Program: Whole-person wellness with real incentivesSign-on & referral bonuses: Get rewarded for joining and for bringing great people with youAdditional benefits available — ask us for details.
