Job Summary High School Math Tutor - Urgently Hiring – Huntington Learning Center, Dunwoody As a teacher at Huntington Learning Center, you will work with students on a one-on-one basis in your area of expertise. Huntington Learning Center has 46 years of experience helping students from kindergarten through college. We strive to see success in our students' grades, test scores and self-esteem. Our staff is dedicated to providing one-on-one attention to help students better understand concepts that are being taught. No lesson planning required! Responsibilities Work with students on a one-on-one basis in your subject area Provide individualized instruction to help students understand concepts taught Qualifications 4-year college degree required Teaching certification/license is a plus Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a week, including evenings and weekends, depending on availability A passion for teaching and a desire to see students achieve success Characteristics of a Successful Candidate Positive attitude and high-energy level Patience and compassion for all school-aged children Well versed in subject matter Dynamic and engaging with students Results driven Detail oriented Strong interpersonal skills Excellent listening and communication skills Enthusiasm for teaching and learning Details Job Type: Part-time Pay: From 17.00-25.00 per hour Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule, Training & development Schedule: After school, Day shift Work Location: In person Ability to Commute: Atlanta, GA 30338 (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
