Mustang Rental Services is seeking an experienced Claims & Warranty Manager to lead warranty administration, claim recovery, and OEM warranty compliance across our rental operations.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the service side of the heavy equipment or rental industry and knows how to turn strong warranty processes into measurable results. You'll work closely with Service, Fleet, Operations, and Finance to identify warranty opportunities, improve claim accuracy, maximize recovery, and ensure eligible warranty dollars are not left on the table.

As the Claims & Warranty Manager, you'll oversee the warranty and claims process for Mustang Rental Services and Heavy Rents fleets, with a focus on recovery, compliance, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage warranty claims from identification and documentation through submission, tracking, and recovery
• Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and submitted in accordance with OEM requirements
• Identify and maximize eligible warranty reimbursement opportunities
• Review high-dollar equipment repairs for potential warranty coverage
• Monitor claim aging, recovery performance, and outstanding warranty dollars
• Partner with Service leadership to identify missed or underutilized warranty opportunities
• Develop reporting and dashboards to improve visibility into warranty recovery and performance
• Standardize warranty documentation and claim processes across the service organization
• Train service personnel on warranty documentation and claim requirements
• Conduct periodic warranty audits and identify opportunities to reduce warranty leakage
• Maintain accurate warranty records and reporting
• Support OEM warranty audits and reviews
• Partner with Service, Fleet, Operations, and Finance teams to improve warranty processes
• Assist with root cause analysis of recurring equipment failures and reliability trends

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of warranty administration or warranty claims experience
• Strong knowledge of OEM warranty processes, claim preparation, submission, and recovery
• Experience in an equipment dealership, construction/heavy equipment, equipment rental, or industrial service environment strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation-intensive processes
• Ability to analyze claim and recovery data and identify trends or missed opportunities
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to establish consistent processes and hold teams accountable to documentation and compliance requirements

Success in this position means increasing warranty recovery, reducing missed claims and warranty leakage, improving claim accuracy and turnaround time, strengthening OEM compliance, and providing better visibility into equipment reliability and warranty performance.
