Referral Coordinator

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Referral Coordinator will manage referral scheduling, authorization, and medical record maintenance while working remotely, ensuring timely and accurate coordination of patient care. Key responsibilities Ensures timely scheduling of all referral requests, including patient visits, testing, and procedures Maintains knowledge of clinical information systems for patient scheduling and registration Provides high-level customer service and communicates effectively with patients, clinical staff, and external agencies Required qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and 4 years of experience required Virginia MLTSS (UAI) Certification required and must be maintained throughout employment Experience in a healthcare practice setting preferred Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational skills required
