House Supervisor

Pay: Depends on experience Schedule Full Time 12-hour shifts 7:00pm-7:30am Position Summary The House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safe staffing, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination of patient care services. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site leadership for all departments during assigned shifts Ensure safe staffing levels and appropriate patient assignments Serve as the primary escalation point for clinical and operational issues Support nursing staff with clinical decision-making and crisis intervention Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and patient safety standards Coordinate admissions, discharges, and bed management Respond to emergencies, including behavioral crises and codes Communicate with leadership regarding incidents and operational concerns Assist with audits, rounding, and documentation oversight Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience in behavioral health Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage high-acuity situations Demonstrated sound professional judgment; clinical judgment where applicable to licensure/role. Proficiency in the use of computers and standard keyboard functions for data entry and electronic documentation. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Current CPR, BLS, and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment Demonstrate understanding and compliance with Patients' Rights, LPS Statutes, and Seclusion and Restraint Protocols.
