The Material Handler is responsible for a variety of receiving and inventory activities including storing and distributing supplies and equipment to other departments. Duties and responsibilities:

• Receives and inspects all incoming raw materials and supplies and then distributes to the appropriate department or stocks into the warehouse inventory.
• Maintains complete inventory cards and records for all inventory items and builds steel kits as needed to supply production.
• Maintains constant flow of materials to the production floor for assembly.
• Assists matte and foam cutters as needed to maintain daily production needs.
• Adheres to the safety rules of JUPITER BACH.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience required:

• HS diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Preferred education, experience, and skills:

• Ability to read and implement basic work instructions.
• Understanding of basic inventory and warehouse practices.
• Ability to safely and competently operate a forklift.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and mathematical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA safety requirements.

Physical requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Ability to use power and hand tools in a safe manner 4+ hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shift.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift.
• Ability to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift.
• Ability to crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4+ hours per shift.
• Ability to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift.
• Ability to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift.
• Ability to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually.
