Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

Position Details:
Are you a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine physician looking to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive, high-performing team? UP Health System – Marquette, the regional leader in compassionate, cutting-edge care, is ready to welcome you to our Emergency Medicine family.
- Hospital-employed practice with 9 current physicians, 3 PAs
- 20-bed Emergency Department in a level II trauma center, regional referral center
- 8-hr & 12 hr. shifts available.
- 12 to 15 shifts/month, with opportunity to seek additional shifts at associated rural critical access hospitals within our system.
- Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University; medical students and family practice residents
- Engaged and supportive practice environment
- Approximately 1.6 patients per hour
- 36 hours of physician coverage per day, 12 hours PA coverage
- EDIS EMR system in the Emergency Department, Cerner inpatient system
- Full radiographic support including US, CT, MRI capability.
- Dedicated reimbursed CME hours annually
