Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care in a hospital setting. The role involves managing acutely ill patients, following protocols, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patients continuously using advanced equipment such as Phillips monitors, GE EKG machines, and Lifepak defibrillators.
• Respond swiftly to emergency codes and perform procedures such as intubations and chest tube insertions.
• Document patient care accurately within the EMR system, maintaining compliance with standards.
• Support unit policies, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 3 years of recent ICU experience.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience functioning in a charge nurse capacity or handling multitasking responsibilities.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, compassion, flexibility, and effective teamwork skills.
• Able to work 7 PM – 7 AM shifts, including every other weekend, with no on-call requirement.
