Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices. in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse to nurse report at the bedside.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associate Of Nursing ADN, Diploma from an accredited school of nursing. , upon hire or
• Bachelors Of Nursing, upon hire or
• Masters Of Nursing, upon hire and
• Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire and
• Two (2) years emergency room RN experience, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire and

Preferred

• Two (2) years emergency room RN experience.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, upon hire and
• Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire and
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, upon hire
