What does a Senior Manager of Application Development do at Swire Coca - Cola?The Senior Manager ofApplication development and Power Platform is responsible for leading the Application Development and Power Platform engineering teams in the design, development, modernization, deployment, and support of enterprise business solutions. This role provides strategic leadership and technical direction for software engineering, solution architecture, application modernization, AI-enabled development, automation, and platform governance. The position is accountable for building and developing high-performing engineering teams while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.ResponsibilitiesDrive application modernization, cloud transformation, automation, AI-enabled development, and platform engineering initiatives across business applications and Power Platform solutions. Develop and execute technology roadmaps that improve business outcomes, engineering productivity, solution scalability, operational efficiency, and long-term platform sustainability.Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Application Development and Power Platform engineers. Build a high-performing engineering culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.Provide technical and people leadership for assigned teams, including establishing and tracking goals and objectives, assigning work, identifying training and development needs, facilitating performance reviews, developing succession plans, and ensuring accountability for individual and team performance and deliverables. Manage staffing needs and determine appropriate resource allocation across projects, operational support, modernization initiatives, and strategic priorities.Establish and govern application, integration, automation, AI, and platform architecture standards. Provide technical leadership and design oversight to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles and business objectives.Implement and enforce software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, security, testing, quality, and operational standards to ensure reliable, secure, and supportable solution delivery.Collaborate with business leaders, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, and Product teams to define technology strategies, delivery priorities, solution roadmaps, and platform investments aligned to business objectives.Develop, track, and communicate engineering, delivery, operational, quality, reliability, adoption, and productivity metrics.
