Housekeeper

Position Summary: Seeking Experienced Housekeeper for NYC Town Home

We are seeking a dedicated professional to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of a private townhome in New York City. Working as part of a team, this individual will play a key role in ensuring the home remains a calm, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for both the family and their guests.

The ideal candidate is comfortable using technology, able to follow detailed instructions, and communicates clearly and effectively. Candidates must be based in New York City and able to provide excellent references from previous employers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily general and deep cleaning of the interior, keeping the house clean and organized at all times.
• Daily laundry, including ironing of clothes and linens.
• Regularly check supply levels and monitor pantry, refrigerator, supply closets, bathrooms, etc., keeping the areas organized and restocking supplies as needed..
• Be the eyes and gatekeeper of the home, answering the doorbell and overseeing vendors when needed.
• Excellent hospitality experiences
• Be proactive and tend to the small details. Having a passion for organization and a strong attention to detail is a must!

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years' experience working as a housekeeper in a high-profile home.
• Knowledgeable in the proper care and maintenance of fine garments and high-end furnishings.
• Able to stand, walk, climb stairs for extended periods of time.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Have excellent and verifiable references from current and past employers.

Schedule: This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, starting at 8am, with flexibility to work on weekends, if needed.

Compensation: This is an hourly position: $45-48/hour plus discretionary bonus as well as excellent benefits.
