Job Description

Location: 2122 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 - Cross Streets:N Scottsdale Rd & E Oak St Status: Part‑Time
Schedule: * Minimum of 4 shifts per month required * 12‑hour shifts; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation: Competitive compensation (based on experience) + bonus + supervisory stipends

Position Summary

We are seeking a Part‑Time clinician to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ .

You'll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real‑time guidance and mentorship. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low‑acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow‑up.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license for MD/DO
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
