Senior Manager, BI Engineering & Data Products
A leading organization is seeking a Senior Manager of BI Engineering & Data Products to lead a growing analytics engineering team and drive enterprise business intelligence capabilities. This role will be responsible for scaling BI platforms, implementing governance frameworks, and delivering high-quality, reliable analytics solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of BI engineers and developers
- Define and implement BI architecture, data models, and reporting frameworks
- Build and maintain scalable BI pipelines from data ingestion through dashboards
- Establish governance standards for data access, quality, and platform usage
- Improve platform reliability and performance across BI tools
- Partner with business and technology teams to translate requirements into solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery speed, quality, and operational maturity
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in BI engineering, data engineering, or analytics
- 4+ years of experience managing technical teams
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and BI architecture
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
- Experience with Python, dbt, or similar tools
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver enterprise-scale solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau
- Experience building governance frameworks for data and analytics
- Familiarity with CI/CD, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration tools
- Experience in large, complex enterprise environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $179,000 – $195,000 annually
- Bonus: Eligible to earn ~15% bonus
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement
Work Environment
- Hybrid model (4 days onsite)
- Fast-paced, high-impact leadership environment
- On-call rotation required
