We are building our EM Team at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center in Washington, DC, with a start date of September 1, 2026. We have Medical Director, Full-time, Part-time, and PRN MD/DO and APP positions available. Local Team Collaboration Join our close-knit team of 10 physicians and 6 APPs at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center. Work alongside our dedicated providers, committed to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with all stakeholders in a positive manner. Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is a 136-bed hospital in Southeast Washington, D.C. The Emergency Department has 32 beds dedicated to the Adult ER, with Children’s National Hospital staffing the pediatric emergency department. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts. Qualifications Family nurse practitioner or emergency nurse practitioner, with a minimum of one (1) year of emergency medicine experience. Certifications Required: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS. Authorized to work in the United States. This is not a new-grad opportunity. Scheduling 40 hours of Physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily. The monthly workload for full-time positions is 120 hours, while part-time entails 80 hours per month. Key Responsibilities The EM team responds to floor codes. The Hospitalist team is part of the Rapid Response and Code team. Cerner is our EMR.
