Teach in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing and Loyola University Chicago Adhere to state and federal laws (privacy, confidentiality) Communicate effectively with students and colleagues Demonstrate teaching efficiency and quality in preparing and evaluating virtual laboratory sessions Assist students in learning, applying, and synthesizing knowledge Guide students in applying theoretical content to laboratory exercises and activities Ensure an inclusive classroom for effective teaching and learning Respond to students in a timely fashion and serve as the course mentor Employ multiple teaching modalities to help students achieve course outcomes Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching Maintain collaborative relationships with NIE School of Nursing colleagues Employ a growth mindset and be comfortable giving/receiving feedback Participate in ongoing professional development to improve teaching, practice, and scholarship Qualifications Academic preparation includes a Master of Science degree or equivalent Teaching experience is favored Proficiency with virtual laboratories for anatomy, physiology, or chemistry is preferred Open Date / Close Date Open Date: 10/16/2024 Salary Information Salary range: PT per credit hour rate.
