We are seeking a Refrigeration Technician to service commercial refrigeration systems through on-call emergency response, scheduled maintenance, installation projects, and a mix of service and installation work. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role supports customers across the local service area and region, with frequent overnight travel required.

 

Responsibilities

• Install commercial refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Handle, recover, and manage refrigerants in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Respond to on-call emergency service requests.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and installation projects.
• Travel locally and regionally, including frequent overnight assignments.
• Report service activities and updates to the Service Manager.

 

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in refrigeration system maintenance.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical diploma in HVAC/R or refrigeration technology.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of refrigerant recovery, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC controls, and diagnostic testing.
• Strong customer communication skills.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems.

2–5 years of experience preferred for technician positions.

Apprentices are encouraged to apply.

Valid Georgia driver's license.

Insurable motor vehicle record (MVR).

Own basic hand tools.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company.
