Part-time Weekends Aide -MH/BH

Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Program Director, the certified nurse assistant/mental health worker will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education and clearly documenting patient activities.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS Knowledge of Patient Rights Knowledge of physiological changes that occur with patients age 55 plus.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE Six months recent hospital (med/surg and/or psych) experience required.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate preferred. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
