Industry: Plastics Manufacturing

Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00 / hour

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday – Friday)(Note: 2nd shift candidates must be willing to train on 1st shift for the first few weeks)
• Schedule: Strictly 40 hours per week (No Overtime)

About the Roles

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team in manufacturing high-quality PTFE (Teflon) plastic products. If you have a strong mechanical background, assembly experience, and take pride in precision work, we encourage you to apply.

Open Positions

• Slitter Operator
• Set up, calibrate, and operate slitting machinery to cut PTFE materials to precise widths and specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance, adjust tension controls, and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
• Inspect cut materials for quality, thickness, and uniform edges.
• Mold Operator
• Prepare PTFE resin and raw materials for molding according to specific formulas and batch orders.
• Load molds, operate molding equipment, and monitor cycle times, temperatures, and process parameters.
• Safely strip and clean molds for subsequent production runs.
• Mold Press Operator
• Set up, program, and operate hydraulic or mechanical presses to compress PTFE powders and components.
• Monitor tonnage, dwell times, and pressure gauges to ensure parts meet structural specifications.
• Inspect pressed parts for density, uniformity, and surface flaws before sending them to the next production stage.
• Deburr Technician
• Perform precision deburring, trimming, and finishing on plastic/PTFE components using specialized hand tools and fixtures.
• Apply extreme attention to detail to inspect and handle sensitive materials without causing scratches, gouges, or defects.
• Verify finished dimensions against strict specifications and quality standards.

General Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Skills & Experience: Strong mechanical inclination and previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or working with plastic/sensitive materials.
• Special Requirements for Deburr Technicians: Exceptional attention to detail and proven experience working with delicate or soft plastics.
• Shift Commitment: Must be able to work designated shift hours and commit to initial 1st-shift training if hired for 2nd shift.
