Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

This role supports instrumentation and controls (I&C) electrical work within a large data center environment. You will perform a variety of tasks including wire management, bending and running conduit, installing EMT, and supporting motor controls, lighting, terminations, and other electrical applications using basic hand tools. The position is ideal for experienced journeyman electricians or mid-level electrical technicians who can work independently and safely on complex electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Bend and run conduit 1.5 inches or smaller, with a primary focus on EMT installations.

• Install control panels according to project specifications and electrical codes.

• Install cable trays to support and organize wiring systems throughout the facility.

• Pull, route, and secure wire in conduit, cable trays, and other pathways.

• Perform wire management, including organizing, labeling, and terminating conductors.

• Support instrumentation and controls (I&C) electrical work as directed by project needs.

• Assist with installation and maintenance of motor controls, lighting systems, and related electrical applications.

• Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.

• Follow site-specific safety procedures, standards, and best practices at all times.

• Collaborate with other electricians and trades to ensure high-quality, timely completion of work.

• Perform additional electrical duties as assigned based on expertise and project requirements.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience working as an electrician.

• Experience as a journeyman electrician or equivalent level of competency.

• Proficiency in bending and running EMT conduit independently.

• Demonstrated experience installing cable tray systems.

• Strong conduit bending skills, including accurate measurements and clean installations.

• Ability to pull and route wire safely and efficiently.

• Hands-on experience with motor controls, lighting, and electrical terminations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
